Anjos, one of the most successful Portuguese bands, celebrate their 25-year-long career on December 28th, in the biggest show room, MEO Arena, in a unique concert that will bring together on stage not one, but two, symphonic bands. Alongside Anjos, on stage, we will have Banda Sinfónica da Guarda Nacional Republicana and Banda Sinfónica da Polícia de Segurança Pública, with a set of over 150 musicians, in the biggest production ever made in Portugal of this genre.
The celebration for Anjos's two-and-a-half-decade-long career, named "Anjos 2.5", will stay in our memories not only because of the majestic show to be expected in this amazing evening, but also because of the duo's initiative, together with GNR and PSP: the revenue will go entirely to “Pacto Contra a Violência" (Pact Against Violence), which consists of a network of public and private organizations that, in conjunction with Comissão para a Cidadania e a Igualdade de Género (CIG), have mobilized and provide support to the work of Rede Nacional de Apoio a Vítimas de Violência Doméstica (RNAVVD) (National Support Network for Victims of Domestic Violence).
Both brothers, Sérgio e Nelson Rosado, are preparing to perform a truly unique and unforgettable show on December 28: a symphonic concert where they will perform all of their hits with the sound of the prestigious Banda Sinfónica da GNR e da Banda Sinfónica da PSP. Anjos will also perform with several special guests in that special evening, which will be announced soon.
This is a unique opportunity to witness live a historical moment in the Portuguese history and to contribute for a cause of vital importance.
