EVILLIVE FESTIVAL RETURNS TO MEO ARENA
ON 5 JULY 2026 WITH A DEMOLISHING LINE-UP
The 2026 edition of EVILLIVE FESTIVAL presents a concentrated line-up, with MARILYN MANSON and MASTODON among the first confirmations.
EVILLIVE FESTIVAL returns to Lisbon on 5 July 2026, returning to the venue and format that shaped the event's identity and consolidated its reputation: a concentrated and technically flawless experience. After a historic edition — three days at Estádio do Restelo in 2025, headlined by JUDAS PRIEST, KORN and SLIPKNOT — EVILLIVE returns to MEO Arena for a special one-day edition, designed to offer maximum intensity and, of course, the quality that has always defined the festival.
For 2026, the organisers have now revealed the first four confirmed names on a line-up that will consist exclusively of artists of enormous international stature. Among them, the presence of the unmissable MARILYN MANSON, a central figure in industrial rock and one of the greatest symbols of artistic provocation in the world of alternative music, immediately stands out. His participation in the EVILLIVE FESTIVAL, following an impeccable performance at a sold-out Sagres Campo Pequeno, where he indelibly reaffirmed his magnetism and unique stage presence, brings a visual and conceptual dimension of enormous weight to the event, at a particularly interesting stage in the career of one of the most famous American artists of recent decades.
Joining the inimitable shock rocker in this first wave of confirmations are MASTODON, who reinforce the artistic level of the 2026 line-up, bringing with them a creative phase that many consider to be one of the most solid of their career. True masters of the art of making progressive metal excellence, the Atlanta-based musicians arrive at the MEO Arena with the technical proficiency, emotional depth and artistic rigour that have made them one of the most celebrated names in the heavy music spectrum, reinforcing the breadth and sophistication already inherent in EVILLIVE FESTIVAL.
In addition, the aesthetic diversity of the line-up is also beginning to take shape with the confirmation of the legendary THE GATHERING, one of the most influential names in European atmospheric music of the last three decades. Reunited with the iconic Anneke van Giersbergen, the voice that helped redefine melodic and progressive metal in the 1990s, the Dutch band returns to Lisbon to revisit a deeply remarkable catalogue, made up of songs that have spanned generations and shaped sensibilities far beyond the boundaries of metal.
Completing this first wave of announcements is the Swedish phenomenon IMMINENCE, one of the strongest names of the new European generation, whose fusion of contemporary metalcore, cinematic melodies and striking visual aesthetics has placed them at the forefront of the genre's renewal.
With its return to an indoor format, the event maintains its international production standards, upholding the rigorous curation that has become its trademark. More names will be announced shortly.
