The legendary Scorpions are back with the Coming Home 2026 Tour, with a stop in Portugal on July 8th at the MEO Arena.
With a career spanning over six decades, Scorpions remain one of the biggest names in world rock. It all began on the streets of Hanover, when young Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker, and Matthias Jabs carried instruments and amplifiers in a simple wheelbarrow, in a city slowly awakening from the post-war period. Since then, they have become an undeniable reference in the international music scene.
Over the years, countless renowned bands—such as Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Korn, System Of A Down, and Queensrÿche—have paid homage to the German group with versions of iconic songs. "Rock You Like a Hurricane" alone has been performed by more than 150 different artists, attesting to the band's overall impact.
Considered the number 1 rock band in Germany, Scorpions have sold over 120 million records, performed more than 5,000 shows, and have a collection of classics that continue to mark generations.
The band thus has a date with the Portuguese public on July 8th at the MEO Arena.
