Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band MUSE announced additional European dates for their Muse – The Wow! Signal Europe Tour in 2027, promoted by Live Nation.
Having recently completed the North American leg of The Wow! Signal Tour, which included headline performances at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Festival d’été de Québec, and a closing-night show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, MUSE will return to the UK in November for a series of arena shows, including two nights at Co-op Live in Manchester and two nights at The O2 in London.
The tour will then continue across Europe throughout December, concluding the 2026 run with two nights in Zurich, Switzerland. MUSE will extend The Wow! Signal Europe Tour into January 2027 with the newly announced European dates.
The Wow! Signal, MUSE's tenth studio album, is available now. The record features the tracks “Nightshift Superstar,” “Be With You,” “Cryogen,” “Hexagons,” and “Unravelling,” originally released in 2025.
Since its release, The Wow! Signal has received widespread critical acclaim. NME hailed it as MUSE's "best album in 20 years", while Kerrang! described it as the band's "most impressive and creative signal in a long time." Louder praised the record as their "sharpest, most eclectic and energetic" work, celebrating its ambitious blend of sci-fi spectacle, emotional weight, and maximalist rock.
MUSE first announced The Wow! Signal in March with the release of “Be With You,” unveiling the album from space and attracting coverage from outlets including Pitchfork, NME, Consequence, Kerrang!, and Billboard. The single amassed more than three million streams in its first week, became the most-added track at alternative radio, and reached the format's Top 5.
Inspired by one of the most fascinating cosmic mysteries of the last century, The Wow! Signal takes its name from the powerful 72-second radio signal detected in 1977 from the direction of Sagittarius. The astronomer who discovered the anomaly circled the now-iconic sequence “6EQUJ5” and wrote “WOW!” beside it, giving the signal its name and securing its place in both scientific history and popular culture.
Exploring themes of extraterrestrial communication, technological anxiety, existential wonder, and humanity's search for meaning in an increasingly disconnected world, The Wow! Signal is available now.
