VIBES & BEATS presents, for the first time in its entirety in Portugal, the acclaimed show “Caju” by LINIKER, a true sensorial experience that connects with the audience.
Singer, composer and one of the most influential figures in contemporary Brazilian music, Liniker is one of the great names of the new generation of MPB, with a career marked by aesthetic innovation, breathtaking stage presence and cultural contributions of strong social impact.
In 2022, Liniker made history by becoming the first Brazilian trans artist to win a Latin Grammy, with her acclaimed solo debut album “Indigo Borboleta Anil”, distinguished in the category of “Best Brazilian Popular Music Album”. A year later, in 2023, she was invited to join the Brazilian Academy of Culture, taking the seat that belonged to the legendary artist Elza Soares — another symbolic milestone of her legacy in the making.
In 2024, the artist once again stood out by winning four trophies at the Multishow Awards, including “Artist of the Year”, after being the most nominated artist of that edition, with 11 nominations in nine categories. In the same year, she was also honored at the Women’s Music Event Awards by Billboard, winning in the categories of “Best Album” and “Mainstream Music”, with her second album, “Caju”, which has already been played over 200 million times on digital platforms.
With collaborations ranging from Milton Nascimento to Gilberto Gil, and recognition from international critics — such as in publications such as The Guardian —, Liniker has established herself as a transgressive, delicate and necessary voice on the global music scene. She recently participated in the afterparty of Lady Gaga’s show on Copacabana Beach, for the approximately 2.1 million people who watched the show.
The "Caju" tour, which promotes her acclaimed second album, has sold out consecutive dates in venues across Brazil, consolidating Liniker as a magnetic and unique presence on stage, with an unmistakable emotional delivery that touches the audience. More than just an artist on the rise, Liniker is now a symbol of representation, freedom and transformation — with a guaranteed place among the names that are shaping the future of music in Portuguese.
