Jorge & Mateus

Friendship, work, fun and love for music are the ingredients that bond the young duo, Jorge & Mateus. Together, they have created hits like ‘Pode Chorar’, ‘Voa’, ‘Beija-flor’, ‘Amo Noite e Dia’ and others.

Born in Itumbiara, Goiás, State-Brazil, Jorge and Mateus met at a friend''s gathering and one of the greatest sertanejo music duos was then born through some unpretentious playing around.

The duo has a differentiated repertoire and has brought innovation to arrangement, resulting in a fresh and captivating style of sertanejo music. 
 
‘O Mundo é Tão Pequeno’, released in 2009, was their second album and launched them into stardom all around Brazil with songs like ‘Vou Fazer Pirraça’, ‘Mistérios’ and ‘Onde Haja Sol’.

Jorge & Mateus have also granted Brazilians living in the US and Europe with the joy of seeing them perform live. Their first international tour was in 2009 in the United States, followed by a second one in 2010 with additional concerts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and England.
 
Their third album reached Brazilian radio stations and stores in 2010. ‘Aí Já Era’ captivated Jorge & Mateus'' fans. Once again, the young musicians prove they''re here to stay in the hearts and minds of all sertanejo music fans.

The album was well-received by critics and many people wonder how one single album can contain as many hits as ‘Aí Já Era’.

Jorge & Mateus are now coming to Portugal to perform their greatest hits - not to be missed!
