Born in 1995, Blasted Mechanism is a band currently made up of Valdjiu, Guitshu, Fred Stone, Riic Wolf and Ary. With more than a dozen albums released, they have already won a Golden Globe and were distinguished with three nominations for the MTV Best Portuguese Act. They have stepped onto the biggest national stages and been to many others abroad, such as the emblematic Glastonbury festival.
Unavoidable in Portuguese music, they fuse rock with electronics and elements from various traditional world music. They are an original fusion project, with a strong identity, which is greatly reflected in the remarkable performances, which are true experiences of catharsis. Blasted Mechanism are synonymous with power, they represent an avant-garde and inexhaustible force of entertainment, a non-conformist way of being in life. Now is the time to celebrate the legacy and build new pages of history.
However, on the horizon is, above all, a special concert to celebrate 30 years of their career, scheduled for 2025. Blasted Mechanism have always stood out for their disruptive and contagious performances, they are a stage band. The preparations begin now, to the sound of “Come With Us”, around which the faithful rebels that they call family gather.
