AUDIO DESCRIPTION

It entails a complementary audio track that informs the visually impaired audience members about the settings and movements in the room and in the show that could only be taken in by vision. From a technical standpoint, an app is used that visually impaired audience members can install in their smartphones, receiving the sound from the audiodescriber and transmiting a signal to the app in real time.

SENSORY VESTS

They consist of a recent technology that enables the deaf Community to experience music in a diferente way. The vibrating vests, combined with the interpretation in Portuguese Sign Language, allows for a fruition of the concert more adapted to the Community: the sensation of vibrations is much stronger and the lyrics are more accessible with the interpretation to their native language.

PORTUGUESE SIGN LANGUAGE

Portuguese Sign Language (LGP) is a visual-spatial language that uses gestures, facial expressions, and body movements to express ideas, concepts, and emotions. When inserted in the context of shows, LGP opens doors to a more inclusive and accessible cultural experience, especially for deaf people.

To take advantage of this service, which is entirely free of charge, you must possess a valid ticket for the specific event (this ticket can be for any area in the arena) and send an email to acessibilidade@aarena.pt, up to 72 hours before the date of the event, indicating the event and the resource that you are interested in.
