Irish trio The Script has just released the dates for the tour to present their new album, "Freedom Child". The concert in Portugal will be on 23rd March at MEO Arena. "Rain", the first single to be released, was a phenomenon: it went straight to iTunes' Top 10 and was played across the world's most important radio stations.

The Irish band's fifth originals album, the follow-up to the acclaimed "No Sound Without Silence", was recorded in London and Los Angeles with the participation of several co-authors and producers for the first time. The record brings together a powerful collection of songs that speak of real life and show the band's in-born talent.

The Script are of the world's most successful bands with over 29 million records sold. The band has been awarded several platinum records and sold over 1.4 million tickets to 203 live performances, including the concert that sold out in minutes at the legendary Croke Park stadium in their home town.
