ROGER WATERS CELEBRATES THE 30th ANNIVERSARY OF “THE WALL” WITH A HISTORICAL TOUR THAT WILL VISIT LISBOA!

This will be the first performance of “The Wall” in 20 years.

Indications are that this will be the last major tour of Roger Waters, who last played in Portugal at the Rock in Rio-Lisbon 2006, in front of an audience of 69,000 people.

30 years ago, “The Wall” was a show of large proportions, which made it difficult to adapt for a tour, but new venues and the advancement of technology have solved this problem. Today, after months of meticulous planning, Roger Waters has visually updated it but he assures that the same theatrical extravaganza which made the show legendary and the sound quality Roger Waters brought us remains the same.

Since its debut, the show has been performed live only 31 times, including an album tour between 1980-81 and some one off gigs of significance, such as Roger Waters’ concert to celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall.

This concert will be a unique opportunity for fans of Roger Waters and Pink Floyd to watch a full live performance of “The Wall”, on a stage that does justice to the grandeur and magnitude that will turn this into a historical performance.

In 1980  “The Wall” was the biggest selling record in the United States and remains today as one of the five best-selling albums of all time.
