Metallica have just announced the European dates for their “WorldWired” tour, promoting their new album “Hardwired... To Self-Destruct”, and Lisbon is on the list. The American band returns to Portugal at the beginning of next year on 1st February 2018, at Altice Arena. The tour kicks off with two concerts in Amsterdam, on 4th and 6th September. Norwegian band Kvelertak will be supporting.
Metallica got together with CID Entertainment to offer three options that give a more complete experience with this tour, including premium tickets and other facilities, early access to the venue, a visit to the memorabilia exhibition “Memory Remains”, as well as meet & greet, through which you can meet the band. "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct" was released on 18th November 2016 under Blackened Recordings from Metallica, and went went straight to Number 1 in sales charts around the world, with more than 800,000 copies sold the week it was released. The album was produced by Greg Fieldman with James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich and is available in various formats at www.metallica.com.
In Portugal, the album also went straight to Number 1 in the sales charts and received a Gold Award.
