AZNAVOUR 100 ANOS
20 JUL
MEO ARENA
In 2024, the world will celebrate the 100th birthday of Aznavour, one of the biggest composers of all time, with a symphonic concert of his biggest, most unforgettable songs. The world tour starts in April and arrives in Portugal on July 20, for a unique concert, at MEO Arena.
In this hommage to the French cultural icon of the 20th century, directed and produced by Gil Marsalla, the public will listen to the voice of internationally acclaimed Jules Grison, accompanied by Orquestra Sinfónica with the best musicians of the entire world and arrangements by the Japanese musician, pianist and composer Nobuyuki Nakajima.
Alongside a repertoire carefully selected for these celebrations, including his biggest success of all times “La Bohème”, and, who knows, “Ay, mourir pour toi”, Aznavour's song that Amalia sang, there will also be original videos turning this event into the biggest tribute ever to Charles Aznavour's career.
